Day nine: Lakes are different, Leninski Mine

In the morning, everything warmed up – they did not come out of heroism, but just to have fun.

Well, swim – swim so much! We decide to go to see all the surrounding lakes and, in the evening, to return to Zyuratkul for the night. We hope that for the second time, the weather will be nice.

We saw Kisegach, Spruce, Chebarkul, but it was not until Kisegach that he took a bath – closer to dinner, the clouds began to tighten dangerously the sky, the wind rose and the sun is completely lost. Remembering the shortage of firewood on Zyuratkul, on the way to the top, we fill the trunk of birch wood. It is strangely cold outside and freezes in some t-shirts, because all the clothes in the chest are covered with firewood …

We are heading towards the night. Lech is concentrating on the road, my mother and I have fallen on the map, we think, as if quietly we proposed to propose to him to close two other mines … We have in mind – the mine of Lenin in the 19th century. they have mined gold and now (for some reason they want to believe so much in the internet again!) “There are literally good samples of rock crystal and listvenite under my feet.” In fact, it is not a fact that the Leninsky mine is near the city of Leninsk, it may be just in honor of Lenin – but Lech suddenly agrees to easily travel the extra 40 km . What is it all the same … the best!

We arrive at the village of Arkhangelsk, we begin to ask questions about the mine of the local inhabitants. The locals are extremely hospitable – we get a guide, a bunch of apples and a lot of advice on what kind of clothes it’s best to go … (they say there are snakes and ticks there – it is difficult to remove the rubber boots and jeans from under the wood in the trunk), shirts, immediately on the road, we change clothes) … Too bad the roads, in fact, nobody knows …

Along the way, we discover that our guide comes from Cheboksary.

We walk for a long time in the ravines of the forest, almost at random, and finally, abandoned mines. Listvenit is really there – they learned, green, and the truth is lying right under her feet – in her backpack.

Meanwhile, Lech and his guide inspect cracks, openings and caves …

And the first rhinestone found Antoshka! Well, we, it is true, are also marking ourselves gradually – on a stone backpack just something.

Satisfied people came in, bending down under the weight of the stones … Welcoming locals welcomed us happily, gave us beer, candy and zucchini. Left to sleep – but Zyuratkul was waiting for us …

On the outskirts of Arkhangelsk, we also stopped in a working gold mine, dug a little in the sand, without finding gold.

Zyuratkul arrived when it was already dark. They decided to get up for the night next to the “Kingdom of Saltan”. Friday – black people, under each bush tent, cars, lights, people … With difficulty, we found a place, we got up. Sleep!

Tomorrow’s plans – Paleovolkan! The guard at the entrance said, tomorrow at 9 o’clock, there will be an excursion. It’s our way at seven o’clock. So, you have to get up at 5-30. Horror … At the local time, we do not seem to be moving …

Third day: Radauti-Bran (Bucovina to Transylvania)
